Meike 25mm f/1.8 Manual Lens

This Meike lens is a super fun little lens. I originally bought it as an inexpensive solution to get some star pics on an overnight camping trip, but the trip didn't happen. Since then I have used it as a wide angle portrait lens for low-light conditions. If you have the patience and the luxury of taking your time to manually adjust the aperture and focus, this is a great lens for anything you want to take a picture of in low light at a wide angle. On an APS-C it is approximately a 37mm focal length, which is a fantastic focal length for portraits. I will say that when aimed directly at a light source there is a high likelihood of lens flare, and the lens does not come with a lens hood, so you will want to be conscience of this. That said, for less than $70 US it is a really fun and neat prime lens that brings back the romance of manual focus and aperture.
